On this day October 21, 1985 (30 years ago) Marty McFly would have thought 3d printing to be nothing but a futuristic dream. Yet, here we are today!
Although the movie was a fun look at what could be, many of the inventions either have been created or are actively being worked on.
For example, Nike has filed for a patent on the self-lacing shoes
A few companies have been working on the Hoverboard (using magnets)
And Google’s glasses aren’t far off the mark from what Marty’s son was wearing.
